cooper dot se.

this page is called cooper.se because it represents much of my thought since studying for a semester in sweden in the spring of 2005. this thought process has continued on down to the beginnings of my real adult life....what comes next? let's talk about it....and many other things of course.

yikes!

It has taken me far too long to get back on here and post. I apologize to anyone (probably no one) who has been checking back in anticipation. I most assuredly have an explanation for why it has taken me so long to get back here.

My sister Kelly was married on Saturday, August 5, 2006. It was a really fun and special day. There was a lot of planning leading up to it and lots of cleanup and take down and all that. It was a really great day, but it is nice that it is over because the summer ended also and everyone is moving onto the next thing. Kelly and Greg moved to Georgia so Greg can get a Master's degree in Classical Languages!

As for me, I have moved back to Chicago after a hot and wonderful summer at home in Arizona. I will most likely be signing a lease on a classic huuuuuge Chicago apartment tomorrow and am in that insane transition mode where I don't yet have a job and have just graduated from school and am debating how high to aim as I search for a job.

I know I should aim high, but I also need to start earning some money. Perhaps I will stop over with an hourly job like being a server at Tre Kronor, Chicago and North Park's own Swedish restaurant.

This entry is not that insightful, but I have had so much on my mind and life hasn't felt totally normal since the summer, and even then there was always wedding stuff going on. It hopefully will soon and I will finally have a job and can start making a life. Here's hoping I live a significant one and don't fall so easily into a meaningless existence. It happens.

Farewell for now friends.
